Angels and the Law of Attraction.

Having watched 'The Secret' and read so much about it, I did not feel very inclined to read The Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks. But somehow this book crossed my path several times and each time I picked it up and put it back on the racks at Crossword and Landmark I got a nagging feeling I was not doing the right thing. My Emotional Guidance System left me with the thought that I had let go something very valuable. Both these places are my favorite haunts. Each time I came home I decided that I would buy it at my next visit but somehow that did not happen. Then one fine day as I was busy with my office routine, the thought came back to buy the book and this time with a bang loud enough to take me to the book shop straight after work. I guess the angels were pushing me to do it so I went and got it finally! And not without regrets as I discovered the nuggets of wisdom that Abraham, a group consciousness had so beautifully put across through Esther as a channel. This was over a year back.

Sometime back after reading Ask Your Guides by Sonia Choquette, I was guided once again by the angels to re-read the Law of Attraction. The second reading made an even deeper impact on me. I realized that the Law of Attraction is one Universal Truth, that if given its due share and weightage in our lives, can profoundly affect the way we think and help us realize that we are and only we are the creators of our destiny! As I read through the book I could recall the various situations and incidents in my life that led me to take the decisions appropriate at that moment. It also showed me how things could have been different in others that could have been better, had I thought the right thoughts and let the Universe and the Laws of Attraction do their job. It also led me to understand that the things that I have always expressed gratitude for are the very ones that I had given positive thought too and in fact all that I had desired had actually manifested!

Then working on the suggestions that Sonia has made in Ask Your Guides, about invoking Angels to help us in our daily lives, I found that this was nothing but angels were a beautiful tool to consciously and deliberately create. When you invoke angels asking their help with a task or for anything that you desire, the anxiety factor that is second nature with most of us, just about begins to disappear and in this way leads us to manifest what we want. Invoking angels is like entrusting your job to someone you deeply trust, someone whom you know will do it just right, so that you can leave your cares behind and get on with other things. This is the best thing about invoking angels: they do such a fine job that often after it is done, you wonder how things moved so smoothly. And whether it is the angels or the Universe you thank after a task is done, you are adding to your own positive energy and helping things get better and better. It is then you realize that while invoking angels for help and guidance you have 'believed' in them, without the slightest tremor of doubt, and created what you wished to see. Believing indeed is seeing and not the other way round as we have all been conditioned to think!

Starting with small daily tasks is a wonderful way to build faith in those in the non-physical realm who were created just to help us work our way on the physical plane.

So invoke the angels and see the Law of Attraction manifest what you want They are the best bet in a world full of overwhelming choices and distractions!

Of Sonia Choquette, Angels and Spirit Guides

Reading about Angels has always fascinated the child in me. It was therefore, not out of place, that my friend Gita lent me a wonderful book loaded with information about them, written by Sonia Choquette titled ASK YOUR GUIDES. After reading Doreen Virtue's book Healing With Angels, this is one more book that reaffirms one's faith that angels can work for you, if you will only allow them to.

Reading it was going journeying back to a wonderful world that I realized I had left behind in my childhood. Having studied in a Convent school, angels have always been a familiar aspect of life, someone you were taught to call on or to pray to and ask for help when the need arose. But as one grows up and begins to face the adult world, it is easy to lose touch with the inner child and discover that the child-like innocent faith gets fainter and fainter being replaced by doubts that come from the ego.

Sonia Choquette has given wonderful tips about getting in touch with ones guides, healer guides, helper guides, runners, archangels, the ministry and light beings and many more, all of whom as I see them are forms of fine, positive energy that our visualization may give a human form. I do believe that God created angels to help us humans to realize and stay in touch with our spirit nature. But one thought that keeps coming to my mind is that as more and more infinitely good, realized souls traversed the earth, they created more such energy forms by sheer dint of their good thoughts. These thought forms eventually took on an angelic appearance to guide us humans. Apart from angels who have never had an earthly existence, there are realized beings no longer incarnate, acting as our spirit guides helping us to experience the physical world, while helping us to remember that we are truly only spirit.

Reading the book one realizes how really easy it is to make contact with these wonderful creatures that God created specially for us to make existence on this planet smoother, to better guide our spiritual evolution. Beginning with simple experiments like finding parking spaces when out, crossing a crowded street in peak traffic hours, working or meditating undisturbed without the phone ringing reaffirmed my faith in the angelic world. All that one needs to do is to only ask and then forget allowing the angels to do their job and thank them for it. Calling on angels also reminds us how really important it is to remain in an attitude of gratitude always and thank God and the Universe for the infinite blessings we have received and continue to receive.

A positive thought when sent forth with faith works because it is not shrouded in layers of doubt. Invoking angels is exactly the same thing. It is like putting a positive thought form into the Universe and then allowing the Universe (read Angels) to do the job, while you forget it and firmly believe with full faith that it will manifest. All good things work and so do all good thoughts that are for the greatest good of our own selves and others. It is only a matter of faith and patience that are called for to see them manifest.

Thank you Gita for being a 'teacher guide' and introducing Sonia Choquette.

The following is a prayer from the book which I recalled having learnt in school.

Angel of God, guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day, be at my side,
To light, to guard, to rule and guide.

Learning to work with angels one does begin to realize that life can be really 'charmed' as Sonia Choquette rightly says, ' It is our birthright to expect a charmed and blessed life'.

Body Talk

A month ago some of us a VIBES decided to learn a new healing modality called Body Talk evolved by Dr. John. Veltheim .
Dr.Suresh Dagur of Pune, who is an expert in the field came done and conducted an intensive four-day session after a very interesting introductory lecture on the subject which was well-attended.

Body Talk is a wonderful modality that aims at balancing the communications systems in the body through understanding the mind-body as a whole and tapping into its innate wisdom to restore any disruptions. It is based on Vedic energy systems and Chinese meridians. Tapping the cortices is a wonderful technique that can be used by one an all on a daily basis. Dr. Dagur demonstrated this at the introductory lecture. Watch the procedure at http://www.bodytalkhealthcare.com/documents/tapping_out_the_cortices.pdf and http://www.bodytalksystems.com/videos/

The four-day workshop was wonderful and we gained a lot from learning modules 1 & 2. Now it is all a matter of practice and study of the protocol to make it 'second nature'.

Experimenting between ourselves we have as a group gained a good deal from practicing on each other. Thanks to Dr. John Veltheim who has evolved this balancing technique and to Dr. Suresh Dagur for bringing it to us.
